Santos hotel chain will open the doors next February in what will be its first store in Barcelona, Santos Porta Fira, an original building with 24 floors, with which it has invested or p art design and architecture.
This is o ne round tower and somewhat asymmetrical, inspired by a lotus flower, whose designer, renowned architect Toyo Ito, has found a very special and unique way to bring a new page-turning to architecture today.
A futuristic design, spacious and airy, modern equipment and a willing service for total customer satisfaction are some of the pillars of this new proposal which will be added in a few days at the hotel offer in Barcelona.
Toyo Ito, meanwhile, is a large projection Japanese professional and recognized worldwide for their creativity and originality.
In the latter project was true to his belief that "architecture no better than a tree" and designed a great looking tower but graceful, as if it were also slightly troubled by wind.

The new Hotel Santo Porto Fira is a category four stars (but meets the expectations of five stars) and offer a total of 320 rooms and suites well equipped with the latest technology and highest comfort benefits.

To carry out its project, Ito was assisted in the study of architecture B720, led by Fermín Vázquez, and has in its history with several representative works as the Agbar Tower Indra tower or building that was erected for the Cup America, among others.
With respect to the chain Santos, one can say that now available in ten stores located throughout Spain, and all of 4 and 5 stars: in Madrid, Granada, Murcia, Mallorca, Santander, Zaragoza, Valencia and Vaqueira.
